David B. St. Pierre

David has focused his entire career on the real estate debt and capital markets, primarily as an institutional real estate lender on a national basis. He has worked with numerous developers and real estate professionals across the country to provide senior and mezzanine debt and equity capital from his current role with the Legacy Capital Partners in addition to his previous management positions at KeyBank and Bank One. Prior to co-founding Legacy Capital Partners in 2004, he was a Senior Vice President and acquisition banker with KeyBank Real Estate Capital's Private Equity Group. In this capacity, he actively identified, underwrote, structured and closed equity and mezzanine investments on a national basis. He has been directly involved in transactions totaling hundreds of millions of dollars in equity, mezzanine financing, and loans with real estate developers and real estate owner/operators.

David began his career as a lender in the commercial real estate departments of KeyBank and Bank One. After three years with a Cleveland real estate and development firm he returned to KeyBank in 1999 as the manager of KeyBank's Cleveland real estate production office, where he managed the loan production of five relationship managers. In 2002, he joined KeyBank's Private Equity Group where he provided equity and mezzanine financing on a national basis for the acquisition and development of a broad range of properties, with a focus on apartment and retail properties. David received his B.A. (cum laude) from Ohio Wesleyan University and his M.B.A. from Cleveland State University.
